I ... stopped rather before that. >_> Had other needs and finding the time to justify the expense (back before I outright stopped entirely being able to afford it) of an active sub was just ... other priorities. I do miss it sometimes, though. Well, miss a good guild.
I can't say I know what either of those are (but I think I have a guess?) But, yes.. always lurking :)
BfA is just kicking my ass, so I went back to lower areas and just starting pushing through quests and zones for the satisfaction of not being killed by bears and porcupines :D
DotA = Daughters of the Alliance; DotH = Daughters of the Horde. Female-only guilds. I was in them during BC and WotLK, and it was absolutely the most fun I ever had playing WoW. (I played on and off from Cata until Legion.)
Ah.. my guess was correct! :D ((I started when Pandaria came out, by way of my roommate giving me the friend code in her box.))
I'm not sure, really.. I'm still pretty frustrated with BfA. And, while I've seen a lot of stuff coming out, the last year.. most of it makes no sense to me. I guess if I was in a guild or raiding, etc, a lot of it might make some sense. :\
I have a friend who's continued to play, who has kept me informed of things happening (or not happening) with the lore.
I admit I'm mildly intrigued by some of the things in SL (okay, okay, basically on thing, and that's Kael'thas) but I'm waiting to see how the xpac develops before I spend any money.
The (utterly nontoxic) social aspect of DotA/DotH was what I recall the most fondly -- that, and that we had excellent, excellent guild leadership.
